Aristocrats in Ukraine

Here's an interview with Iwan Brioc, director of Theatr Cynefin, on a popular Ukrainian underground radio station.  He talks about Theatre of the Oppressed and Sensory Labyrinth Theatre.

Iwan has been working with Theatre for Dialogue in Kiev, offering workshops in Context Oriented Theatre and Rainbow of Desires as well as facilitating a blank forum evening and a Mindfulness taster for psychologists who work with people displaced by the war in the East.

Looking for trustees

After being around for 15 years we have decided to take the plunge and become a registered charity.  The main reason for this is we need to secure core funding, to become more financially stable to attract the kind of funding which we have previously depended upon.

While we are not supportive of the way informal organisations are being marginalised by the changes in European funding and also the general criteria nowadays demanded of organisations just to enable the work to happen, we recognise that we have to adapt to survive.

We are therefore seeking people who are interesting in applying to become trustees of Theatr Cynefin.  Please get in touch if that is you.
